31,4% of all bikes sold in Belgium are E-bikes. They are comfortable, consume very little energy and hardly need any parking space. The success of electric bike has also consequences for Belgian employers who wish to help mother nature. A tax free incentive for the employees that use a bike including an E-bike to commute to work is an interesting tool to decrease the Belgian carbon footprint.
