Frederik Laevens acquired experience in AML, Tax and corporate matters at the Brussels offices of a leading international audit firm (2019-2021) before joining the Brussels Bar (Dutch Role) in 2021.

His areas of expertise span Tax, Corporate (M&A), AML, and Contract Law, whereby he not only advises but also represents clients in litigation, navigating them through courts and arbitration in corporate and contract law matters.

He thus combines transactional activities with a contentious practice.

In addition to his practical experience and academic achievements he has written a number of articles on legal topics related to his expertise.

He obtained an M.A. in History with a minor in Law from the University of Ghent (2015), an MSc. in Economic History at the London School of Economics (2016), an LL.M. at the Free University of Brussels (VUB) in 2019, and a post-graduate (Manama) degree in taxation at the University of Leuven (KUL) in 2022.
